Ajai K. Sharma

I’m an AI product and technology executive with 15+ years of experience building, scaling, and exiting AI businesses. I currently serve as Chief Product and Technology Officer at CloudFactory, where I lead the GenAI Agent Platform, ML Science, and Forward Deployed Engineering teams.

My focus is the intersection of AI platform R&D — agent harness optimization, retrieval and model adaptation, and inference efficiency at scale — and highly verticalized agentic AI embedded into the core operations of multi-billion-dollar businesses across oil and gas, drones, autonomous vehicles, supply chain and logistics, and insurance. The combination of platform investment and Forward Deployed Engineering is how we deliver multi-year, expanding, and durable value to customers worldwide.

Previously I was cofounder and CEO of Holomorphic AI Labs, an enterprise-grade GenAI agents and reasoning API platform. Before that I was Head of Product for AWS SageMaker, where I helped launch and scale what became one of the largest AI platforms in the world. Earlier still I led applied AI engagements as an Expert at McKinsey & Company for the world’s largest insurance, financial services, and pharma companies, and cofounded an earlier AI startup acquired in 2013.

I studied Mathematics and Statistics at UC Berkeley and earned my MBA at The Wharton School. I’m based in Los Altos, California.
